COVID-19
Clinic Policies
Masking
Now that the CDC and CDPH have declared the state of emergency over, mask are optional for patients in the clinic. Teo will take his cue on whether to wear a mask or not from the patient so that everyone feels as comfortable as possible during their time in the clinic.
Patients will not be asked to leave the clinic if they feel unwell, however:
If you are feeling unwell, or know that you have been exposed to Covid please use a covid home test before coming in.
If you have a fever or other symptoms of an acute illness please wear a mask when coming to the clinic.
Clinic Policies
Tables will continue to be wiped down between patients.
Air purifiers will continue to be run between patient visits and rooms will be given at least 10 minutes to rest with the air purifier on.
If you don’t have a mask and would like to wear one while you are at the clinic, a surgical mask will be provided to you at no cost.
We hope it is understood that while extra steps are being taken to insure the safety and good health of both patients and practitioner, 100% protection from infection cannot be guaranteed.
Practitioner Policies
Clinic staff and practitioner will take a covid test if feeling ill and will wear masks if unwell and covid negative.
Clinic staff and practitioner must wash hands when arriving for their shift and before and after any amount of patient contact. Avoid contact with face, wash hands frequently, and practice good respiratory etiquette.
Clinic staff and practitioner will wear an N95 or KN95 mask in the presence of any patient who states that as a preference.
Cleaning Protocols
Patient rooms will be rotated to allow HEPA filter to adequately cycle through the air in the room a minimum of 10 min.
All surfaces used are sanitized after each patient visit with EPA-registered disinfectant according to specific contact time. This includes but is not limited to:
Chairs, side tables and counters in treatment rooms
Face cradle, treatment table, and vinyl pillow are disinfected between each patient
Any table linens and face cradle linens used during treatment are washed in hot cycle and changed between each patient. Table paper will be used on the treatment table and discarded after each patient
